No Starting Issues

Seems like there are so many "No Start" threads going right now that I need to report the opposite. I have "No Starting Issues".

We had the coldest morning in decades here in East TN last Thursday, -16C (3F). Couldn't plug the truck in since we hadn't had power for a few days by then.

My truck started flawlessly. I'm sure some of you more northerly folk have had success in colder temps, but this was the 1st big test since I've owned this one.

A good glow plug system, batteries and a starter and these things seem to start up pretty good

I do believe that's the first time I've seen someone from Tennessee refer to the temperature in Celsius first with Fahrenheit in parenthesis.

Bob, you wouldn't happen to be a math teacher or a scientist would you? Not too many people I know use C. The Army likes to use the metric system, but we never use the metric standard for temperature.. Unless you were from another country and moved to the US!

OH! For a second I though you used the Kelvin scale, seeing as you only have about 3 months of warmish summer-like weather, and then another 9 months of snow and ice fishing

Just ribbing ya a bit, actually know a few people who live in middle/northern Canada, and that's actually how they explain the weather. I just embellished the temperature scale a bit

Born and raised in Cali visiting Michigan for the first time in the real cold. I just had to walk outside when it was -22. Plus there was wind chill. I could feel frost trying to form in my lungs lol, I don't know the next time I'll be able to do that.

The Midwest isn't any better. KS can get pretty brutal in the winter too, but not as bad as lake effect states.
