Timing problem with pertronix???
I installed pertronix ignitor on 302 engine, fired right up sounded really good. Checked the timing and it's way off according to the pre pertronix marks. Tried to adjust and it's so far off won't come close to old marks. If you are looking down on the timing indicator the old marks are about 9 o'clock. Has anyone else had any similar timing issues or heard of anything similar??
I did nothing to the dist. when install.
Gonna check TDC on no. 1 to make sure my marks on the flywheel are correct and go from there head scratching...
