Check engine light with no codes

Hey guys I have a late 2004 with 130k with a bpd egr cooler and new oil cooler and new ficm from Ed. Cat delete with no muffler. Everything else is stock I have a dash boss and was noticing some weird numbers. My check engine light came on but I couldn't get any codes with the dashboss. I started monitoring the egr error and saw some erratic readings really high negative numbers after I let the throttle off. The truck runs okay but was kinda starting slow. Could my egr valve be stuck? Could my short modified exhaust be messing things up??

Dashboss should be pulling the codes if you have a CEL.

The last time I had a cel and no codes it was a sticking turbo.

No Dtc but the light is still on ...... I can see with the dashboss that it's building boost and hear it spool. What about the egr readings that I am getting ?? Any suggestions

Still getting egr error readings greater than -50%.

Seems odd that the MIL is on without seeing any codes... I am not too familiar with the Dashboss, but you may want to hook up another, independant scanner and try to pull any live or stored codes.

Is anything showing up under Configuration/Vin ? Should at least have the first 3 digits of the vin show up.

May do a reset.

Disconnect the gateway.
Do level 1 reset
Clear app from background.
Connect Gateway
Start engine
Synch Bluetooth
Restart app and let it rescan the VIN
Pull codes

I cleared the dtcs and it hasn't come back. I disconnected and reconnected my egr valve and now I'm not getting high egr error percentages. I drove it hard to see if the turbo is spooling and it is. It got to 22psi then reads 0.0 psi. Not sure if this is overboosting or normal. Going to get a crows foot pry bar and scope the egr valve. It's been 25k since i looked at it maybe it's stuck
