E303 cam help

Im in need of some help, i have a 94 f150 4x4 with the 5.0 HO. I recently did a gt40p head swap as well as rebuilt the motor and installed an e303 cam. The truck starts and runs but has a few problems. It tachs about 4000 rpms on first start, but gradually drops to an idle. Does anything else need to be changed/adjusted? I am running the stock upper and lower intake. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

That's a pretty wild cam for a truck that shuts off at 4700rpm ... I think you're going to need it to be dyno tuned..

Did you convert to Mass Air-Flow (MAF)? That cam is not designed to work on Speed Density.

My truck is already mass airflow, it runs but something just isnt right about it. Almost like its getting to much fuel and not enough air

My apologies...I did not see you had a 1994 truck...doh!

Definitely need to check for air leaks after the MAF meter.
