new cam? what needed

I was thinking about getting the b303 racing cam or better? And I was wondering what I will need to make the complete conversion. I have a basically stock engine With the exceptions of air flow, exhaust, gears. I had heard that I might be able to use stock push rod's?
My truck is a:
1990
F-150 xlt lariet 2x4
thanks:-X12

Firt off the B-303 is not a speed density friendly cam. I use one in my mustang with 1.7rr's and this cam pulls past 6500 rpm (giving up some low end in the process). That is with components that match this cam. It also only makes about 10" of vacuum at idle so there goes power brakes. This is also a roller cam so a conversion would be in order along with the shorter push rods and lifters not to mention a mass air conversion. You can get away with speed density and some cam grinds but not this "B" cam-224 degrees of duration and it sounds like it when it idles. I really don't recommend a "B" cam with stock heads intake or compression. You really need some decent compression to take advantage of this cam. I've seen some mustang guys rum this cam in a basically stock engine and they slow down. They then say the "B" cam sucks but you have to have the components and compression to support this cam. I recommend a different grind for a truck. Good luck
