Tri City out of Nashville,,they guarantee the chrome as long as you own your vehicle .They show up at all the big car shows, you drop your bumper off to them and pick it up the next season big car show.
Even shipping is reasonable. Forgot to mention in my above post they estimated $45 shipping for a 68 Galaxie front bumper.

Wanted to thank you for pointing me to Tri-City Plating. Sent my front bumper to them two weeks ago and have it back already. 45 shipping and 335 for triple plating. Even fixed a small hole someone drilled in top of bumper. Lifetime warranty for the vehicle.
I have no intention of rechroming my trucks bumper but my belair's bumpers are going to Tennesseefor sure. Your bumper looks great, price wasn't all that bad at all and the warentee is awesome!
You guys are crushing me.
I'm so close to finishing my project. Definitely this year. Been going on for 8 years.
I've been telling my wife I'm down to the grill shell and a dash pad. $600&$300.
Oh yeah!!! Forgot the bumbers,,, now another $1800. She'll be so pissed. Oh well.
Great thread.
I got a quote from them last night after seeing this thread. Just wondering how you packaged your bumper, and how did they for the return trip? Also, what carriers were used?

I shipped mine by wrapping in bubble wrap then taped cardboard around it. They shipped it back wrapped in some sort of padded paper with cardboard wrapped around it. I shipped mine ups from MI to Tn for 45.00. No damage.

Yes it was a good deal. After getting some quotes around here and from Paul's and Advanced Plating, I figured lets try Tri-City and am glad I did. I can justify the higher costs for a show room finish, but to be honest Tri-City did a nice job on mine. Looks showroom to me and that's what counts.
