the dash pad is **** sadly..and the panel isn't staying green. The wife and I decided on a black and silver pain scheme for the truck...But that's way down the road. Gotta get it to some standard first LOL
But the inside was green actually. the title says it was originally a gold truck. If I could ever figure it out, ill be posting little videos of the build.
Yeah that certainly does help. Too many projects get abandoned because peoples dreams are generally much larger than their pockets are deep. Oh by the way nice truck and what all does your dreams include. And never be afraid to ask questions, as there are many knowledgeable fellahs here.
We want to pain it Black and Sliver and match the interior. Other than that i want to keep it the same. I love the inline 300 in it. Like i said, i know its gonna require money; I must be the luckiest man on earth because the wife is willing to let me do it lol!!
nice looking truck, body doesn't look all that bad at all. there are plenty of knowledgeable guys here so ask away. and there's no such thing as a stupid question, we all have them. good luck with your build and remember that most of us are just here for the truck **** so keep the pictures coming.
If I remember correctly...squeeze the clip to release the cable housing.
Can't help you with vids, I have trouble with a cell phone. Videos have been posted here.
GLR, not sure if I actually used your help. I went out and pulled a little bit and popped out. Thank you.
Got the dash wiring harness pull out today. Surprising wasn't as bad as I thought. The fuse block is tore up, but nothing is cut. I cant figure out how to get the vents and blower motor assemblies pulled off. It looks like its riveted the 2 halves together and then to the firewall. if anyone know for certain please let me know. Ill go drill rivets out if I have to, but would like to avoid if at all possible. The stater solenoid wiring is destroyed...im not sure what someone did, but they only did enough to make the truck work. So hopefully that will get fixed. Got a guy getting me a new one.
