New Headlights and problems
Today I put some new headlights in, the nice one, with smoked lenses and projector lights. For the Parking light / Turn signal I ordered some LED's with switchback function.
turn signal lights amber, parking lights white, all in one
And for the turn signal, I installed resistors to avoid hyper flashing.
BUT:
the amber turn lights are not so bright, so, if the parking lights are on, nobody can see the amber part of the bulb.
Did I do something wrong??
I was hoping :switchback means, there is amber OR white light at the same bulb.....???

i have been experimenting with amber LED 3157's in my 06 SD for two months now. I have learned that its hard to get an LED to produce bright amber light. in your case using a switch back (two colors in one bulb) cuts down on the number of LED's you can have for each color which affects the amber output the most
solution may be a premium LED set up like the VLEDS V3 Triton
you may also want to use an electronic flasher rather than adding resistors so as to take advantage of the LEDS lower power consumption.

Thank you for your answer.
I found out today about the electronic flasher, I will get one and take the resistors out.
What I don't know right now, are the turn signals / parking lights part of the DRL or not. I will find out today.
Where can I get the premium LED's??

I think I got it....
You are right, the park / turns are not used for DRL's. I bought today an electronic relay (EP27) and did throw the resistors out.
Talked to a guy at "superbrightleds" and the secret is the right bulb and it will work.
Ordered these today.
Will report with pictures / video after I receive the bulbs, will take a few days, as we live in Canada.

Got today my LED's (switchback's) from superbrightleds.com.
First test worked awesome, when turn signal is on, white park light switch automatically off. Pretty bright as well.
Will finish on the weekend and will show some pictures.

I only did a quick test as I put the bulb in the socket. Complete installation comes on the weekend.
In this moment I have 2x H1 per headlight. I am looking for replacement LED's with min. 50W. Do you have any recommendations?
