Large hose from Carb??

I have searched high and low to find a good diagram but with all the changes the PO made to this engine I am not certain what goes where and as such I am often left scratching my head, wondering why someone would make changes they did. The truck runs good, idles fin and the RPMs stay smooth. I think the majority of the vacuum system has been put back together correctly but where is this hose suppose to go to from the carb? I have the stock 2 barrel Motorcraft carb

I am certain I will have more electrical questions in the future but for now it runs. Thank you everyone for the input and help.

Does your new PCV valve (rear of passenger valve cover) have a vacuum line run to it already?

That is NOT a PCV, that is a bowl vent that Ford did for a while. It's dumb serves no real purpose as there is a bowl vent built into the carb. Just cap it off.

This thing right?

OK, yeah the pcv has one hose running into the back of the carb, the other pcv house is capped off, should it be?? So many hoses. I'll cap off the other carb hose though.

Thoughts on the other pcv house?

The second barb on some aftermarket PCV valves remains capped on some models. Other models have a secondary line running to the valve hence the reason for the second barb on the PCV valve.

Just make sure you have air going in one side and then out via the PCV valve. The air in needs to be clean--through the air cleaner or otherwise filtered. Diagram is typical:

sorry yes the PCV my truck had before, had two ports on it with one being capped off and the other leading to the rear of the carb. I suppose next time I can just buy one with one port since the other is just capped off.

From your diagram that large hose coming from the front should run into the other valve cover which currently only has a oil cap on it. the oil cap has small vents around the bottom of it but isn't a snug fit as it has a small amount of wiggle to it. Thank you for all the help and support everyone,
