Steering sector shaft
The threads on the sector shaft and nut on my steering box are stripped out. I have a 1950 F-1. Can anyone advise where I can get a replacement fairly priced. Thx.

Send it off for rebuilding? The problem is cores are getting more scarce, they'll need your box to rebuild.

Thanks Tedster. I already have one of those expensive rebuild kits, but I'm in need of the sector shaft. I didn't realize it wasn't usable until after I got the rebuild kit.

Ah, I see. Mac's has them for ~ $260 maybe that's fair, I dunno.
