Stuck Distributor

I have A 1987 F-150 with the 302 engine. I am trying to replace my ICM. I have loosened the holddown bolt on the distributor but for the life of me I cannot turn it at all in order to get to the bolts on the ICM. I have tapped. I have sprayed penetrating oil all around the base. I have even put a plumber's wrench around the neck of the distributor to likely try to twist on it. It is not budging. Anyone with any tips or tricks to loosen this so I can turn it.

I don't recall having this problem with any of my 302/5.0s but a quick google check shows lots of hits. Apparently the aluminum distributor body and the steel block like to corrode together. Soaking with PB blaster, Kroil, ATF/Acetone mix, etc all were suggestions. Common thought seems to be lots of soakings and occasional tapping to loosen.

Thanks Leo. I guess I'll keep applying the penetrating oil. I did use PB blaster have had pretty good luck with that in the past. Aluminum seized parts can be a real pain! I am hoping this is not going to be the case. I am tempted to remove it completely if I I am able to get it to move it all. I am not sure if this is a good idea though I don't want to open up a whole other can of worms. In other words getting my timing back correctly. I do not have a timing light. I have made marks on the block and the distributor to line them back up. So I guess that is all I need to do?
