I pulled the OBD1 codes out of my 1986 F150 4x4 (302, AOD) and got these two codes:
23: (Trucks ONLY): Throttle Position (TP) sensor signal out of range
63: Throttle Position (TP) circuit fault, below minimum voltage
I am planning on replacing the throttle position sensor. Before I buy the part, is that most likely the cause or can something else trigger this fault? Also, will a Duralast one from Autozone work fine/are there any brands to avoid?
