Weird water issue

Weird water issue
2001 F250 super duty with 331,000 miles. Driver window won't go all the way down and A/C compressor won't come on. Drive it thru a nice puddle and wet the underside; all works. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a broken wire(s) or bad ground for a group of wires. The water creates an electrical circuit.
Personally, I would look for a common grounding point for group of wires under the chassis or some place water can get to it. I think this might be your problem more so than broken or chaffed wires.
