I got my Expy ED 5.4 about 3 weeks ago and I really love it… While under the Expy the other day I found a plug just hanging. It’s a rectangular plug, Two wires. I traced it back to the main harness; it goes into the main harness between the brake booster and the fuse box. Could anyone tell me what this plug goes too??? I have looked around but can’t seem to find where this plug should go…

You need to give us some more info like : wire colors, location of the plug, etc.........
If its up by the front bumper, then its your oil heater. COld weather item. You can plug this into a wall outlet during really cold night and it will keep your engine oil warm...
I don’t think its the oil heater since it looks like a stock plug to some sensor or something. I did not see the color of the wires, but I will look tomorrow. I found the plug hanging in the wheel well next to the driver’s side running board. I followed the wire to the main harness between the brake booster and fuse box. Thanks for everyone’s help...
I wouldn't go crazy over this. It's impossible for a car manufacturer to custom-design the number of wiring harnesses needed to perfectly address all the powertrain/electrical equipment option combinations possible in any vehicle. Some harnesses have wires with empty plugs as a result. Is everything working?
