No, there has never been green coolant in it, I meant gold. Good to know the SCT will turn that light off. Looked at sinister diesels oil cooler and egr delete or replacement for $665. Seems like a good deal, just not sure which way to go. Also probably a good time for coolant filter, and I thought about flushing again. BTW I got a free radiator today as tech broke a nipple off of plastic tank! That should eliminate a big portion of casting material.

Free radiators are good. Check out the IPR EGR delete before you buy the Sinister, you might like it better.
I looked at the IPR kit and do like it (price is always nice). Also noticed they have a Gen3 delete. This looks just like the Gen2 but has 2 ports on top? I am assuming these are to run the full flow coolant filter they sell. Anyone know anything about the gen 3?
OK. I went through IPR research and ordered a gen3 egr delete kit with an oem oil cooler. I also got an updated stc fitting kit, turbo oil drain line, and new up-pipe, and to round out the expensive day I ordered the full flow coolant filter. I got Fumoto valves ordered from amazon and will do a coolant flush before I tear down top end. I read someone said to use CLR instead of VC9 to do my flush. Is CLR going to eat the iron the way VC9 will? I will be replacing said parts and then refilling with ELC coolant. Hopefully this will stop all of my future issues, as I am now hoping to be invested in truck for another 8 years!
