Egr delete

Im about to do a egr delete. I also got a sgII and found out the eot and ect spread is 11* going down the freeway at 65. Should I get an oil cooler first before I tear into it, or try to do the back flush first?

Thanks

Well its 215.00 for an oil cooler from tousley Id throw a new one in since you will be right there

Id still flush its guts out before the work VC-9 do the works

Read Nylons flush thread in the tech folder

you maybe able to flush oil cooler clean IDK Im just saying its alot of work to go that far in for the EGR deleate and for the price of the oil cooler Id just put a new oil cooler in and be good to go for awhile

get a coolant filter going if you dont already

Good Luck

Considering most EGR cooler issues are actually due to issues with the oil cooler I would go ahead and get a new oil cooler.
