I have had this AAA Auto Club Badge for many years. I want to sell it now. Can anyone here give me an idea how old it is? What vintage is it?
Also, where and how was it attached? There is another on ebay right now and the seller calls it a radiator plaque badge. Was it bolted through the fins of the radiator?
That's a cool piece, Nice garage art, you'd better keep it
I've got no emotional attachment to it, meaning it didn't belong to family. The neighbor man gave it to me back in the 70's. It has been sitting on my bedroom dresser for many years. We got new dressers two weeks ago so my wife is on a kick to cleanup and simplify things. The only reason I kept it this long is because it is in great shape, and I am from originally from Lancaster County. It is probably worth some money for the guy with the correct vintage car.
There is on on eBay now for $200 which is too much I think.... I am watching it.
