Additionally, if my memory serves me correctly, then the temp reading is not a continuous stream. I believe that it refreshes itself at intervals...cannot recall if it was every 30 seconds or 3 minutes. I thought it was every 3 minutes.

with the temp ranges we have here just in a 5 mile stretch i can watch mine go up and down 10F and this is at a sustained speed.
