outside air temp display
Tell me-when starting my 01 ex 7.3, it takes about 5 minutes of driving before the temperature guage reads correctly-if I start it and do not move-it holds the previous temperature that the car was driven in. With warm days and cool nights, I see an incorrect temp displayed after parking my car when getting home from work and refiring it in the morning. I just had my temp sensor replaced for this problem but it still is slow to respond? Let me hear your thoughts.....

Well my first thought would be that if you already had the sensor replaced for the exact same problem yet the problem still exists, then the sensor wasn't the issue. 
Do you have an aftermarket grill or anything out front that is not OEM?

i just read something about that. something like, under a certain speed it only updates every 10 mins than once that speed is exceeded it updates every minute. ...something funny like that. sorry i cant remember it exactly
