Actually it surprises me that with all that has been said and written here about aftermarket filters some still want to use them. If there is one area that has been emphasized more is the use of factory OEM filters for the 6.0?? To each their own I guess.

I won't use a Fram on a lawn mower.

Maybe they have changed over the years but about 10 years ago I had one come apart on a motor and took out my oil pump. Cost a lot for a cheap filter.
Yep. I've seen four or five engines turned to scrap by fram filters.

Oh and to answer your question the 6.7 went back to a spin on. Only the 6.0 and 6.4 share

If I am not mistaken, the Motorcraft filter is cheaper at Autozone then Walmart for the 6.0. The FL-820s Motorcraft filter is for sure cheaper at Autozone than Walmart.

I never said I would use an after market filter. When I bought the Fram for my truck, it is the SAME FILTER as the OEM. Why throw money away for the same exact identical product with a different box? The box doesn't get mounted on the truck.

The thing is, you can still find Fram Patent oil filters right next to the new design.

The best deal on Motorcraft filters is still Advance Auto with in-store pickup and online coupons.

Do you know if they offer any discounts on shipping if you buy over a certain (realistic) amount? Sometimes the shipping can be a deal breaker on these things.

Racor (OEM) oil filters are $13 at dieselfiltersonline.com

Get a few people together to buy $250 worth of stuff (oil, fuel, air, filters etc) and you get free shipping (especially easy if you are buying Mercon SP or LV).
