Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 27.1° and clear. Supposed to get up to a balmy 39 today.
Will have to make a trip into town today for some shopping, pickup meat at the custom cutters and do a little investigation today. Get to stop and visit with the MIL, always fun, and then stop by the farm on the way home.

Belated good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home from town and the farm.
Took the MIL out for dinner, raised some hate and discontent with a Property Management Firm (that was fun), stopped by the mortuary and picked up some death certificates, took the MIL out for dinner (she was on good behavior) and a number of other things. Between the dementia and the Parkinson Disease, the MIL is getting pretty feeble.
Diana and I stopped by the farm on the way home and a had good visit with my mother. Sister and BIL had gone to town. She did call upset and complaining that the service station wouldn't fill her propane tanks because they were 8 years overdue on the 12 year inspection. Hmmmmm, some outfits actually do inspect those pesky dates stamped on the tanks.......

A chilly 14 degrees as I write this.....Warmed up enough today to melt a few of the main roads, but that's about it. Packed snow all the way to Madras and back as I went for parts....wasn't bad at all....I drove that road every workday for 21 yrs....seen a whole lot worse. We ended up with about 8-9 inches of snow at the house.

Since it is now after midnight I can officially say
May everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day today.
It is a delicate balance, but one must pace themselves and not eat too much nor should they eat too little. In an effort to assist, all pumpkin pies should be sent to me!

Belated good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. It was 23° when I left to go goose hunting at O dark thirty this morning. The geese decided to stay home in front of their fires and watch the ducks play football I guess. Anyway, it didn't take long for my hunting partner and I to decide the weather was for the polar bears and we should go home and cook turkey's.
