No luckily we only had about 20 mile an hour winds here. Fires were awful close to us this year though, about a quarter mile from my house.

That's a little too close for comfort, glad to hear you made it through the ordeal, must have been a lot of heavy smoke I would imagine.

Never seen it that bad before, along with the smoke it was hot near 100 degrees for a month or better. That wasn't any fun. I'm sure you're probably seen the newscast where they had borade bombers dumping borade right in town. It was pretty crazy.

I don't recall but knew the west was burning up pretty bad both sides of the border.

I'm new here, from very northern CA, fire season was a bad one this year. Coupled with the drought, and it was an ugly summer. Glad the cooler weather is here.

Well that's not the one I was thinking of there some that are pretty close. One right over the high school another one where the photographer gets hit by the fire retardant.
