Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home from the farm. Raining cats and dogs. Was beginning to wonder if I screwed up by taking the car out there instead of the boat!

I came home with the same two I departed home with. To do otherwise would invoke the wrath of the warden and cause me to be the one standing at the door and howling to be let in...I've been very well trained! (O.K., the "very well" is debatable)

I'm back......it's raining so hard here that I think the fiber optic on our Internet had to take a time out to switch to underwater optics!

That is way North of me in the OTHER state of Illinois, The one North of I80.

"OTHER" state? Last time I had the wonderful pleasure of passing through O'Hare, I could have sworn I needed my passport for entry to a foreign country. From the way the kids talked, I didn't think it had changed much! When they flew home last summer, they went north and flew out of an airport in Wisconsin. Said it was faster getting to the airport, cheaper, less hassles and they spoke English, whatever that was supposed to mean.
Like I said, The other state of Illinois. I never go to Chicago if I don't have to.
