Afternoon gang. I got up a bit later than usual this morning and then hit the ground running.
We got our outside work done by noon and headed back to the A/C.
The markers that I've been recovering are survey marks placed over the years by previous surveyors. The stone that I uncovered yesterday was set in 1916. It's pretty cool to find these original markers. And it feels good to know that they will be preserved and utilized for the future. I'm working on a drawing of what we did yesterday to file with the County Surveyor.

Belated good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Long day today. Wife and I took dinner out to the folks at the farm and then I had a gun club meeting to go to. Winding down for the evening.
Have some new DVD's movies to watch and the Warden is itching to watch at least one of them. One of them is American Sniper, not sure I'm ready for that so I think I will try and steer her toward one of the comedy's.
Going to Tualatin Cabela's to pickup a gen set tomorrow and the part for the camper awning should be here sometime tomorrow as well.

It was cool here this morning... I had to wear a long sleeve tee shirt. Our predicted high will be near 80°. I can live with working in that kind of weather. Beats the hell our of low 90's.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 51.4° at the moment. It had been up to 55 earlier. Looks like it will be a cooler day today. Supposed to only get up to 76° today.
Heading off for Cabela's in an hour or two to pickup a gen set. Lot's of other toys to look (look, but don't touch!) at too. They weren't too happy with me when we were up there last time. They had to have an employee follow us around with a mop and mop bucket. He had to mop my drools and put out wet floor signs. Oh well, helped me keep track of which aisles we had already been down!
