Morning Tiny! I'm just glad it dried out some here. Could be worse, though. It could be like it is down in Texas, it's just been ridiculous there and in Oklahoma.
Have your rain now........No rain for the G2G.......
We are going to get rain today again.......I got rained out yesterday afternoon. It is time for a break, I have work to complete on the Monster before June the 9th.........
Good morning John. I've only had problems with a cruise control twice. Once it was the switch for on-off-set-resume and the other it was a diaphragm in a box under the hood. Had to have the shop repair it both times. Good Luck!
Morning Jim, John, Roy! John, I've had the alternative, where it would shut off! Happened a long time ago, in my dad's 75 Mercury wagon. Had to put in neutral and shut it off. That 460 roared like crazy when I took it out of gear!

Never had that problem. When I had my problems, it just flat wouldn't come on unless you hit the switch over and over and over. Got to where it wouldn't come on at all.
The other time you would be cruising down the road and it would suddenly release and you would start coasting down. Get it reset and it may "hold" or it may not. If it did maintain speed it would only do it for a while and then release again. That was the bad diaphragm in a vacuum box under the hood.
Aren't all of the new rigs electronic through the computer now???? No more vacuum lines and diaphragms etc.?
radio is working as it should, reattached the black cover for the dash (has headlight switch, fuel tank selector etc.) after I broke the last screw holding it in place.
