We worked on the mess hall all day. We have 80% of the roofing removed, one side and one end of the roof now has all the planking removed. Tomorrow we should have the rest of the planking removed and can start removing the rafters. With this next week of sunny warm weather we should have it down to the ceiling and walls. Moving right along!

We don't get paid to tear it down. Our contract is we get 80% of all the salvage and 50% of the metals and fixtures. The mess hall should net us between 8-$10,000.
We have a bunch of stainless cabinets etc in the mess hall and an 8'X8'X8' cooler to sell also. I have three farms that want the cooler and are bidding against each other for it. The last bid was $3,500.........
Why the sudden rush by the LLC to tear down buildings, with timelines, deadlines, contractual clauses, etc?
These buildings have stood for years of their ownership, and didn't need to be demo'd on a schedule. Why now?

Evening Marv! After 40 years of neglect the roofs on a few of the buildings are so bad they want them down before they fall down. They hope to sell the bare land to somebody that wants to build new. I would fix them and sell the building as they are, but I'm not the owner...
