Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. On and off day. Cloudy all day.
I would like to see at least a 4" rain tomorrow and thunder/lightening won't hurt my feelings either! Bunch of bicyclists will be riding by tomorrow headed for the beach. They will ride right in front of the house and stop for a rest stop at the High School. The last several years, a number of them have caused some problems to the point that I would like to have an M1 tank or a D8 Cat to greet them with. Had a mirror knocked off the car last year. A bunch of them were clogging up both lanes of the country road which goes out to the farm and I had to come to a complete stop and put up with a bunch of crud while they rode around each side of me. On the way home from the farm I was behind a bunch of them riding 4 abreast completely clogging up the WB lane and when I started to pass they swerved out and doubled up so they were blocking the EB lane as well. Most are O.K. but the few have me ready to..........

evening folks!
Played the hurry up and wait game today. Took the DLAB up at MEPS. met my recruiter at 0600 at the oregon city office, was up there by 0640 (for all testing you have to be there by 0700), waited until 0900 to take the test, then came back to the oregon city office at 1100, and went home.
I should process next week for active duty army. not sure what my MOS will be just yet.

Welp.... I just ordered a Kenwood KDC-BT362U for my truck, plus all the mounting and wiring stuff. Should be here wednesday or thursday. Also bought a cellphone, should be here wednesday, considering everything thats about to go happen, my parents might enjoy keeping in contact.

It was kind of lack luster mundane sort of day. Checked the fluids on all of the vehicles and noticed that it looks like something is dissolving the Oil filler cap on the pickup. Never seen anything like it before. Going to have to run down to Napa tomorrow and get a replacement.
Evening Chris, your boss should get you a tank. You are rapidly getting into the very dangerous time of year...all them tourists are going to be coming out in droves.

Im enlisting (once medical clears), Active Duty Army. Plus some other trips, full time employment (until I clear medical, and ship out, august is what it it looking like.) that takes me all over the place.

Terrible time of year to be going to "Relaxun" Jackson. Of course, I'm not sure that anytime of year is good to go there. I think just about any boot they have anymore is back in the land of bugs and high humidity.
Wife works swing shift and doesn't get home until 2230 to 2330, so our daily schedules are pretty much set around her work hours. What may me 1800 for most folks is like midnight for us.
