The mess hall is one big slab. The other buildings are on foundations with some very nice beams under them.

We just have to take them down to the foundations...

The mess hall has 4, 4"X12" beams 25 FEET long. I've got a guy coming next Thursday to buy 2 of them for $250 each for exposed beams in the new house he is building. Two of the other buildings have 6"X18" beams 24 Feet long. Those should bring close to a thousand bucks each...

Spend the cash to fix the barn up. Steel buildings are not cheap. I built a new 40X80 steel building in 2002 for my last business and it cost me 100K, and we did the construction ourselves........

All the lumber is old growth Douglas Fir. It was built in 1948-49. I have 2X8s 19 feet long that are completely clear. No knots anywhere...

You can't buy lumber like this anymore. I called a buddy at a lumber yard yesterday and asked him about these beams and 2X8's and asked him if he could get some like them. He had a good laugh over that............lol
