Those are fun to see in real life. Well, fun and sad. Hate to see trucks rot away.

Somewhere around here there is a home that has a medium duty flatbed from the 40's or 50's, been awhile since I have seen it, that has a flagpole in the center of the bed and it surrounded by flowers while the truck sits like those. The American flag and below is the state or oregon flag on that pole.

Just off the road I live on, there is a 47 International duely on a pole about 15' up. And the CC&R's of the subdivision says all rigs have to run to be kept up here; so I do believe it does run still.

Very cool pic, Katt! Makes me kind of sad to see all of that iron that will probably never be back on the road.

Morning all. Still coughing up a lung here. Yea makes me sad too. Heck I was looking on craigslist just browsing for parts and came across a nice looking old short box ford that was being parted out. I was like why, poor thing looks good, don't tear it apart! I hate it when I see things like that.

Well you on the mend Kat that's all that matters. I agree about seeing old iron go to the crusher or parted out. All though if it takes one truck to make another truck a runner better than the crusher.
