Planning on going back out to the farm this afternoon and watching the Super Bowl with the folks. Guess my sister and BIL are going to be there as well, since I got a message from her to bring chips. The only problem with the Super Bowl is Bud doesn't have enough Clydesdale commercials and they are interrupted constantly by some idiots in colored uniforms running around on a green carpet. I hear that Bud is bringing back the yellow lab pup this year.
I'd love to have one in the 35, just don't have the cash. Trying to sell some stuff so I can buy the Merc. It's winter time out here and not many job's coming in this time of year...

There's a football game today?.................lol
Well, there is what they call the Super Bowl Commercials, but you do have to put up with interruptions of some silly, brightly uniformed, sponsors running around on green carpet promoting an unknown product. I think this year they are promoting air compressors and needle valves for inflating footballs. Maybe it is jus accurate air gauges, not really sure.
Dave, I just bought a factory refurbished Holley for my Merc. project; a 600cfm with ele. choke for $180 from the Holley store on Ebay.
I got a 750 from them about 3 years ago for $180 for the Booger truck; working great!
I understood those were re-man?...........probably better than a craigslist pig-in-a-poke!
Looks good from those and the other pics. It was posted twice each with different pics, also said there was a 302 for sale as well.
Quick question: Is rebuilding a 300 or 223 I6 too much for a newbie? I can get all the parts it seems so, finding one to rebuild shouldnt be hard either. But, the truck does have an I6 in it, so if I can all the parts....
