2015 BS thread. Bring it!
I doubt we will run out of BS, but just in case the manure pile does start to run a little low, rest assured I have enough HS around the ranch to keep us resupplied for eternity.

Time to buy another building, maybe the bomb shelter / ops center? Maybe the generator building.....Don's Automotive Industrial Park.

Truck does run very well though, but idle is very annoying.
Now where the hell does one find a new throttle cable for a 84 Ranger 2.8v-6?
Summit Racing?????? or
NAPA NAPA AUTO PARTS
Had that problem with my 87 F250 460. PB Blastered then NeverSeized the linkage and spring and the cable connection point and that seemed to solve the problem. Later had the problem starting up again. Found that the plastic cable casing had worn away and a couple of the cable strands were binding up in the spring.
Anyhow, I was out raising hell, more than usual anyway.
Met up with U.Z. Havent seen him a year at the least, good to see him.
Started making my knife, have to pick up some used motor oil for the heat treatment thingy, I checked with 3 friggin auto shops and they had NONE, not even a quart. Ill check with the other 20 tomorrow

Out of the blue, my grandfather posed a question to me: do you want the blueberry? (The blueberry is the nickname for the 1978 ford f-150 single cab long bed ranger (maybe XLT ranger) trim with the 400 and 4-speed). He offered to buy it for me and let me tinker all I want out there... Might take him up on that offer if the truck is worth it.
I just hate taking offers like that, makes me feel like a theif...
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I do not have any use for PDX, just some events are held there. We will be at the Expo Center tomorrow. ( the Ford will be home has some things that need work)
I'm saving my penny's for the Spring Rickreall Gun Show which is next month. I wonder if I could borrow some of my penny's back from the attorney that got them all in Nov......
Dave, it might not hurt to talk to NAPA or O'Reilly's. Both were able to find me a cable for the 87 that didn't show up on the web sites. It bothers me that those were for a 4 banger as I plugged your year and V6 engine in.
O.K......you just can't dangle a carrot like "after the stunt I pulled in December" and then leave us hanging!!!!!!

I was working for a farming group at the time, christmas tree season was starting. I was working 12-16hr days through thanksgiving break. Boss needed more guys during the week and I wanted the hours (this is why I can now afford a truck... Somewhat). New trimester, first few weeks are always easy, I knew I could hack taking 2 days off a week for work, so did my parents. So, I approached napoleon (aka the principal, who is short with an ego like no other...), he looked over the idea, yadda yadda. I figured he'd approve it considering my standing as a student and person. Gave me some bull**** excuse about how he couldnt let me take the time off, even though other kids leave for other more idiotic reasons.
So, I told him he could shove it up his *** and left. Took the time off anyway. Now he often stops by my classes to see if he can find a reason to write me up.
Now, before you say that I might have been a complete *******, I do have some justification. 1: in order to graduate, you now have to have Career Related Learning Experience, CRLE's, and a set amount of hours to complete, this is a state requirement. Not only that, but there is another district requirement that we have more than 1 PAID job experience for an honors diploma, I needed one more as my actual second job is well... Not something I want to talk about. So, 2 mandated reasons for work experience, I get time in the real world busting hump, what could be a more validated excuse for 6 days off?
That, and he has been harassing me since freshman year, I just cant call the ***** on it. Purposely changing rules as I move them towards being better at their jobs by asking tough questions and challenging them to new things for improving the school. Ideas such as: bringing back electives that can get students jobs the momenth they graduate, noting flaws as to a lack of various things, budget misplacement (I cant prove this but, its at least somewhat true), and other things.
I also started a "thing" too, seniors with easy schedules are now doing this too and they cant stop it. And he IS PISSED.
Well, that wasnt short but thats why I have to carefully plan days off. That, and if I take too many off, I can wind up in truancy court.
We go the first day of the show when the vendors are still in a good mood ok haven't started wandering what they got in to.
