$389.00?.............Can't justify it, not when I have the means to make it run perfect sitting on the bench for free.
The cool factor of seeing a fat Holley 4bbl on a little V-6 is starting to wear off.
If I drive like grandma and never open the secondaries I get pretty good mpgs, but idle and general drive-ability has gone downhill.
And I drive more like NASCAR than grandma.
Hope this rebuild does the trick, or I am going back to the big 2100 motorcraft 2bbl.

Yeah, the days of $129.95 are over.......
This one looked good and seemed low use, but the guy admitted he could never get it to run right on his dual-quad intake on his 289........I suspected he just couldn't tune it.
Now I suspect there is something else.

You never know......
I bought a 390 Holley for my 300-6 a couple years ago off Craigslist for 50 bucks and had him send it to me. Dirty and looked like crap, but runs sweet...

Good morning Oregon! I haven't checked in for a while, actuality I haven't checked in all year.
Anyway I'm still alive and kicking. Not to much going on around here that is truck orientated. Today I plan on repairing some fence and maybe doing some burning to clean up some of the brush that we cut last summer.

Yes I noticed that picture, I had a 51 2 door post car I gave up years ago and still kick my butt any time I think about it. Would love to have it back.

I've talked with the guy twice this morning. I'm pretty sure I can get it for a thousand bucks. Would make a sweet car for Melody and a kick to drive to car shows in the summer. I can just picture driving up and down The Gorge........
