Think of the Flubber Movies as Adventure-Spy-Espionage-Engineering-Comedy all rolled into one.
I liked those Jason Bourne movies, and "Jack Ryan, Shadow Recruit".
Comedy has taken a real downturn..........Anything with Will Ferrel makes me want to puke.
The new James Bond 007 movies are a real disappointment too............Brosnan was WAY better than the new guy.
Could never get into Jason Bourne, anything Tom Clancy ranks right behind Hunting & Fishing, James Bond retired with Sean Connery although Bronson was almost there and palatable. Will who??????????
I actually heard there was interest in re-making "Dirty Harry"...........that would be like throwing acid on the Mona Lisa.
Yep, probably would be. We got the remake of True Grit on Blue Ray disk. It was O.K. I guess and respectfully done....
A Dirty Harry remake might be interesting if Eastwood directs it and given the advancement in special effects technology. At best it would be like looking the "Spirit of St. Louis" out here at the museum. Put next to the original and Charles himself wouldn't know which is which, but looking at the copy is just that......looking at a copy.
It's not too bad here now, about 38, but the wind is blowing around 200 MPH (seems like it, anyway!). February is supposed to bring cruddy weather. Super.
