Thank you! That's it!

WOW! It's $32.29 after tax, and they want $23.82 to ship it UPS Ground from Northern California. I'm not sure I want to spend $56.11 for it. But thanks for showing me where to find one. So the part is actually about $50.00.

That's a very reasonable price for that bracket. Good find.

They are both other forums that are mainly focused on older vehicles. (Barn = The Ford Barn)

The "Barn" is the Ford Barn, another website/forum dealing with old fords.
Ford Barn

The "HAMB" is the Hokey A$$ Message Board, another forum dealing with old school traditional hot rods.
The H.A.M.B.

Edit: BJ beat me by seconds. Just seconds! (I must be getting old)

That's it! 81C 13468.
No such part number in the 1948/56 truck catalog.
Here's the right (in more ways than one) lamp bracket:

7C-13470 = GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 1 = 800-543-4959.

Joe,

Buy it!!! The time to buy a rare part is when you see it. $50 is very reasonable price for an NOS part that is practically made from unobtainium.

Live on the wild side.

Joe, did you also notice the dimensions on that one? It apparently is NOT the same part. According to Red's listing, it is a 1940-47 part and it is 12" long instead of the 7.7" in Ilya's catalog. Probably work just the same, but thought I should point that out.

Bill, that is the F1 bracket and as you can see in the illustration in post #11 it has a different mount, it does not mount to the frame.

It can always be shortened.

Joe, I have searched and searched on that page, and I can't find any dimensions for that part. Where did you see the length? It is the right part number for the 7.7" bracket, according to the Chassis Parts Catalogue.

Joe, on the page from the link, there is a link to 'add to compare', I did that and then a green bar appeared above and I clicked on 'product comparison' in that bar. Toward the bottom of the page it showed the weight as 28 lbs and the Dimensions as 12"L x 6"W x 4" H

Edit: Just thinking ...I wonder if that is the box dimensions? I would call them (707) 964-3230

I would guess that's the size of the box it would fit in.
