How does CBT do the sheetmetal? Are they able to buy it from Ford, or Perhaps he bought Fords dies?? Can't imagine he buys all those bodies in salvage yards.....
I saw one this past summer in No. Conway, a dark blue six door Excursion..... I assume a CBT truck. Wish I was able to snap a pic.

He has photos on his site that show the process (or did last time i checked).
Last year someone came into a shop that I use to work next to and wanted his new truck into an Excursion. Of course they were not going to turn away a paying customer, but it was an F-150....kind of a waste if you ask me. I will try to see if I can find some more pictures of it.
Found some more. They do some great work and I think the only way it could have been better was if the customer brought them a F-250.
That thing is awesome. How much did the conversion cost them? I would love to do that to an F-350.
Do you know if they dealt with the structural stuff required to support the upper seat belt mounts? Seems to be you would have to do quite a bit of engineering to do it the right way.

Yeah, an F150 can't be turned into an Excursion. It's already called an Expedition. Probably cheaper than that conversion cost too...
I could be wrong but didn't the F-150s like the one converted come with a solid rear axle while the Expedition has independent front and rear suspension?
