A Rare Excursion

I was browsing an insurance auction website when I came across this. I recall a discussion a while back about this probably being the rarest Excursion out there for having the blue interior. This one sure is messy inside and has quite a few miles for a V10...

VIN is 1FMNU41S4YEA01812, so it's a very early build 2000 model.

It's in Billings, MT.

I'd totally liberate the tow mirrors. Maybe even the doors/rear hatch doors.
Looks like this was a daycare vehicle judging from the backseat pic

I agree, lots of stuff in there!

No takers for that lone remaining '00-'01 headlight and turnsignal assembly???

Sad to see one of our beloved Xs get to such sad shape! I also hope someone rescues it and returns it to it's former glory!

As the kids would say, those wheels are SICK! Except in my case, that really means it makes me sick to see such a nice truck on those sickening wheels. I do recall you mentioning selling them if you bought it to recoup expenses. I hope somebody does, that poor truck..... and such a nice color too. Yes, I am officially a grumpy old guy. heh heh

Fortunately, I saved the pics knowing that would happen. Here they are:

Hmm, it still hasn't come up for auction, I just looked it up. I figured it would have after all this time. Here's the link:
