so I am going to get a needle adapter for my greese gun and lube up my yoke to see if thats my issue...cannot believe this thread is from 03 and it appears to be my best bet for results... just not sure, how come when i drop into 2nd there no longer seems to be this effect? it is very consistant in drive/overdrive (heavy thump from rear shaft....practically pushes my 96 ex---brakes grind to hold er down {15-20 mph decel})
2nd gear it all together goes away.... same decel spd no more thump at all.
Im near 200K, 4x4, 4.0
