Weathertech mats

Hey there, I just bought my f150 and if it was worth it to get the custom fit floor mats, I got a $50 dollar gift certificate to sears and thought it'd bring the price down a bit. I live in Michigan's U.P and we get a ton of snow, I also thought these would be nice for when I am in Silver Lake Sand Dunes to keep the sand out of the carpet a bit.

Thoughts?

Yes,sand & snow would be a good reason to own them type of floor mats,so handy to contain messes & dump out when needed,Weather Tech seemed to hold there shape a little better than Husky Liners We also used.

I had thought about it, and decided that the rubber floor mats I have now will work, I wanted a new impact wrench more than I wanted floor mats, Thanks for the input anyway.

im sure once I get back into the land of snow I will probably regret this, but the impact makes rotating tires on 4 cars and a RZR lot easier.

Once you use them, then you cant live without them.We use to drag a half a gallon of snow into our Truck after snowmobiling & we would just dump the water out of the mats when get home.never had wet carpet with them.

Just clean your carpet before you buy it. Money on Weathertech, will be some of the best you'll spend inside for protection.

We have a cargo mat in my wife's Volvo and once the dogs got sick and it didn't mess anything up and just cleaned up the mat.

They were the first things I bought for my 250. It came with factory rubber mats. And to save money I only bought the weather tech front. But seeing the dirty footprints on it, and knowING the carpet looks like new underneath, you never worry hopping in about making a mess.

I had the weathertechs in my f150 and have them in the wifes edge, they work great. I decided to try the husky x-act fit mats for my new truck and actually like them more, they have a softer rubber feel and a lip around the side that catches and holds liquids rather than letting it run out to the door sill and carpet. Also i found mine as an amazon warhouse deal and got them for almost half off.

I could never calm my OCD on my Husky mats- part of me wants the carpet and sill clean, and part of me couldn't stand seeing that wavy lip when I opened the door. lol!

Trying to decide between Husky and Weathertech for my '10 F150 now...
