new floor mats/liners

I'm looking at getting floor mats/liners for my '15 F150 that I just purchased. I went online and about had a cow when I saw how much they wanted for some of them. I live in the Northeast so I want something that will work with the snow and all the abuse of hunting season. Any suggestions?

I have the Aries 3D front liners, $75 shipped when I bought them about a year ago.

Look decent and catch all the winter salt/slush/sand, just rinse them off with the garden hose to clean.

I ordered the Ford mats with my truck since it was easy and I liked the idea of an OEM mat. I have to say, had I saw them prior to ordering, I would have gone with another brand, as their coverage just isn't that great, particularly on the driver's side (largely for legal reasons I'm sure).

I had Rugged Ridge mats in my old Jeep and I loved them. Nice deep tread for holding snow/slush/water/mud and good coverage. It looks like they make a set for the F150 as well. That's probably the route I'll go if I get fed up with the Ford mats.

I installed the full coverage mats from WeatherTech. Both front and back. They work great and I've been impressed with how clean the carpets stay underneath.

I ordered the OEM mats when I ordered the truck. I was very disappointed with the lack of coverage.

So I ordered a set of WeatherTech mats and am much happier. They actually cover the whole area, and also have a raised edge so globs of stuff have less chance of overflowing.

I ran Weathertech floor liners in my 2006 and 2011 F150s. They fit great and provided more coverage than regular floor mats. The only thing I didn't like about them was the plastic/slippery feeling under my shoes. I went with Husky X-act Contour floor liners on my 2014 and I liked them so much I just bought some for my 2017 that I don't even have yet. I like how they are heavy, grippy rubber and my feet don't slide around on them.

I had a WeatherTech cargo liner in my Jeep and as much as I like the company, I was not happy with the slick plasticy finish and shallowness of the tread. That's why I was attracted to the deep aggressive tread of the Rugged Ridge.

I've had the Weathertech floor liners in all my F-150's, and have had zero issues. They are made for the vehicle, clean easily, and no problems with snow, mud, or anything else getting on the carpet. They are expensive, but paying $125 for a set of front liners in a truck that probably retails for $50K+ makes sense to me.....

I just bought some weathertech standard floor liners. Not the catch all kind. They fit my truck really well and I am very happy with them.

I bought Husky Exact fit from Auto Anything for about $100. (just for the front) I think they are a softer texture than the Weather Tech and more pliable. I really like them.

I'm running Weathertech front and factory rubber in the rear. As stated before. Paid for the rubber mats for the truck before seeing what they were. the previous model rubber mats were much better.

Do the mats you bought cover more area than the OEM mats? My truck came with the OEM mats, but I don't like them because of the reasons others have stated. I'm thinking about getting the standard Weathertech mats to replace them.

I put the Husky Weatherbeaters in mine. I had an older version of the Huskys in my F250 that were made of the slicker, less pliable material. Apparently Husky doesn't make any more of the "slick" mats - they are all somewhat pliable now with a bit more traction. I like them much better than the old style mats.

Whether Husky, Weathertech, or similar, "hose off", quick drying mats with a lip are key for trucks that aren't 100% pavement drivers. Also for people that spill their coffee on the way to work.

Mine were $99.95 less 15% off during a sale (which they have often) at the Husky website.
