new floor mats/liners
I'm looking at getting floor mats/liners for my '15 F150 that I just purchased. I went online and about had a cow when I saw how much they wanted for some of them. I live in the Northeast so I want something that will work with the snow and all the abuse of hunting season. Any suggestions?

I ordered the Ford mats with my truck since it was easy and I liked the idea of an OEM mat. I have to say, had I saw them prior to ordering, I would have gone with another brand, as their coverage just isn't that great, particularly on the driver's side (largely for legal reasons I'm sure).
I had Rugged Ridge mats in my old Jeep and I loved them. Nice deep tread for holding snow/slush/water/mud and good coverage. It looks like they make a set for the F150 as well. That's probably the route I'll go if I get fed up with the Ford mats.

I ran Weathertech floor liners in my 2006 and 2011 F150s. They fit great and provided more coverage than regular floor mats. The only thing I didn't like about them was the plastic/slippery feeling under my shoes. I went with Husky X-act Contour floor liners on my 2014 and I liked them so much I just bought some for my 2017 that I don't even have yet. I like how they are heavy, grippy rubber and my feet don't slide around on them.

I've had the Weathertech floor liners in all my F-150's, and have had zero issues. They are made for the vehicle, clean easily, and no problems with snow, mud, or anything else getting on the carpet. They are expensive, but paying $125 for a set of front liners in a truck that probably retails for $50K+ makes sense to me.....

Do the mats you bought cover more area than the OEM mats? My truck came with the OEM mats, but I don't like them because of the reasons others have stated. I'm thinking about getting the standard Weathertech mats to replace them.

Whether Husky, Weathertech, or similar, "hose off", quick drying mats with a lip are key for trucks that aren't 100% pavement drivers. Also for people that spill their coffee on the way to work.
Mine were $99.95 less 15% off during a sale (which they have often) at the Husky website.
