Higher press shoots more fuel the way I'm seeing it
Unless the fpw is shortened
Tell me this how much power is held its a resister right??
.5v-1.0volts a volt would be a lot
I agree with Benny. Higher pressure will = more fuel so long as the
injection pulse width is the same and I see no reason for it to change.
The PCM will just think that it takes more IPR command "on" to make
the pressure that it desires.

Happy New Year
The higher pressure is NOT seen by the PCM. That's the purpose of the resistor. Even though the ICP sensor is putting out a slightly higher reading, the reading is reduced by the resistor before it gets to the PCM.
Idle will not change because idle is maintained by different inputs to the PCM.
I don't know any easier way to explain it.

I don't think this mod will do anything noticeable. The pcm will look at throttle position, rpm, load, gear, and throttle position and set the FPW accordingly. Tricking the high side oil pressure higher will mean the pump is harder to turn so maybe a slight increase in fuel consumption, and the oil will run hotter at the higher pressure.
How many times has someone posted low ICP and been to told to unplug it and see if it starts? On the few that it worked for none posted back "man, the truck runs great now!" If I remember right default is something like 1020psi, so at heavy throttle they would be lying to the pcm just like this mod might do.
We'll Eric mine was. One of the ones that have the ICP sensor go bad I unplugged the ICP from the harness and the truck fired right up if we were to look back at my thread I'm sure I posted the default value
But I never did take it for a ride
I just think this PCM thinks in a way that there are so many checks and balances that just a resister inline with icp sensor may not increase the horsepower like these guys are thinking
What good would higher oil rail pressure be if the fuel pulse width is cut short
