351w wont start
replaced the head gasket on my 90 f250 with a 351W. Got everything back together but when i turn the key the engine just pops a few times and then keeps turning over without any ignition. Im getting a spark since there is brief ignition, and my distributer is set in the origional position. I was was wondering if anybody might have an idea as to whats causing the issue

. Did you rotate engine at all while distributor was out? If so, the crankshaft may be one complete turn off from proper position... or distributor rotated while being stabbed back in and rotor isn't pointing in correct position...
. Crankshaft rotates two turns for each one turn of distributor...
