That's a unicorn right there. Priced like one, too.

But the want is strong with this one.

I think the number of crossflow heads out there can be counted on one hand. FTF has one, and I wouldn't be surprised if he bought this one too... although it is rather expensive.

I'm just gonna leave the pictures up for a while and drool at it, because I can't afford to do much else...

Wow...

Should probably save those pictures in case the ad goes down.

I find the rocker arm design particularly interesting.

Judging by the price, the guy knows what he has. Just seeing it raises so many questions, like, does he have a pallet full of those? Can't I barrow one? I wonder how he came by it.

In one of the photos it looks as if someone has taken a rotary file to the bottom corner of every exhaust(?) port. It is such a shame that ford never put it into production. That head with a little turbo and you have the power of a 460. It really needs a centerfold to be fully appreciated.

It appears that's the intake side - so possibly from the factory to accommodate the fuel injector?

Those shaft mount rocker arms are pretty trick.

I'm waiting for FTF to pitch in some info. I know he has one of these and he was also pretty involved in Ford's development team.

That rocker setup looks like the old FE block design. If it's similar, then the shafts tend to break.
