thats a **** ton of work to do just to skimp on HG's... IMHO you should get the best of the best... you get what you pay for and thats a job you only want to do once!!!
look like the victor reinz gaskets i have sitting in my hall way. same gaskets as the "black onyx" sold for north of $200 bucks. id ask the ebay person what brand they are. victor reinz are clevite gaskets
If they are "black onyx" or another label by the same mfg they are fine. Many have used them including me with no problems. The good news is you do not get 20 pounds of useless head bolts like with the factory gaskets.
I contacted NorthernAutoParts on Ebay and specifically asked if they were Victor Reinz or are they a like design, and he specifically stated that they were in fact Victor Reinz, and are in a shrink wrapped package. He gave me a number to call for his 6.0 guy so if anyone needs it, post up.
i like the ones i have. they look awesome in the living room. when i get a few more pesos ill have a less man ly decorated living room and a more reliable truck
Go to the 7.3L FTE and ask about Northern Auto Parts. They are excellent. Look at their feedback. 99.7 percent positive for over 14,000 sales. People are extremely happy with them. They also send out a monthly catalog.
