It's been a while but this thing is almost ready to start! All it is missing now is fluids and exhaust system and just a few electrical bugs which I hope to have fixed today if all goes to plan. A few days ago I hooked a battery up and was checking circuits that I pit fuses into and for the most part they all worked, but now not so much and I'm thinking it's a grounding issue so Im headed to a parts store to get a new negative lead for the battery along with some grounding strips and that should fix the problems. The transfer case Is mostly in just need to tighten some more bolts and find the rubber mount. I also got some new grille inserts to change the front end up a bit and I can't beleive how good it turned out. Finished up installing the auxiliary horn and it looks factory. My goal is to have this thing working by the 8th
You're making good progress, truck is looking good!
I know the "murdered out" look is really popular right now, but I like the new grill inserts much better with the silver front edge. Nothing looks better than black, but sometimes it needs to get busted up with some chrome and other details or else it all just runs together.
The 8th, you going to drive it to the swap meet in Puyallup?
Was looking at your truck since I'm debating on installing the set of Western Mirrors I have and I'm trying to figure out what mirror heads are on your truck?
For what it's worth I think the new grille looks great. Just enough silver to break things up and highlight details on the truck. Great project, keep up the good work.

Yep that's the plan Im really hoping I can get it going in time. And about the mirrors, the 3-legged bracket is original to the truck but the mirror heads are some universal fit kind of deal that the previous owner installed but here in the next day or two I will put on the period correct heads that I got off of some guy on Facebook a while back
