I do the same except, I use Lucas Deep Clean, then I use a container of Lucas Fuel Treatment, works for me.
A quart of OFF ROAD diesel fuel in each tank will do a decent job of cleaning and lubing the injectors. Takes about 4 tanks to get the job done, but you can notice a difference by the 2nd tank. And you cant beat the price, $3.29 a gallon here.
Do not add any witches brew to gasoline.
To clean the injectors disable the gasoline fuel system and run the engine on straight 3M fuel injector cleaner keeping the injector cleaner pressure below 39psi (for a V8) with the vacuum line unhooked from the FPR.
Five minutes and they are clean. Has always worked for me.
