Fuel injection cleaner
I ‘m wondering about the fuel injection cleaners you buy and shove into your tank. Religiously I purchase it and put it in (ever sense the truck was new) but still at 40K miles, I ended up jamming two injectors and spent over $300.00 to clean-em. Still after all that, I buy it and put it in the tank thinking I’m doing it a service.
What's everyone opinion of the cleaners? Am I wasting my time and money? What's the difference between the Wal-Mart stuff at $ 1.00 verses the STP gimmick at 3.99?

They do work to a point....
But IMO most of them are snake oil at best. With that said, I do ocasionally run a can of Seafoam through my tank every oil change.
But I'm also a firm believer in changing the fuel Filter every 25k-30k miles.
