Hood Release Cable routing

Hood Release Cable routing
I am getting my daughters 87 Bronco back together. I replaced the Hood Release cable but am having a bit of old timers trying to remember exatly how to route the cable from the latch to the firewall. Anyone have a like vehicle they could throw the hood open and snap a picture for me. I'd really appreciate it.
