cable for locking hood latch
hello, I have a hood latch that the cable has broke on it, I was wondering if anyone knew what kind oc cable it is and if it is something I can go to lowes and get or does it have to be off a hood latch?

You can replace the whole cable assembly for cheap if you can find one in a junkyard. I scavenged one off an early 80's F-150. The size of the grommet where it goes through the firewall might be different, though.
