here is something for the gurus. part number 3C7Z-19E616-AA. where is this located exactly? i'm guessing it's going to be behind the a/c unit. best place to get to it? anyone got pics and maybe some advice to install it?
I ordered 2 from orielys about a week ago for my rear ac on the excursion. It was techsmart j04035 it's for the manual rear controls. Piece of cake to install. Rear passenger panel. If it's for an f250 I don't know how hard it's to replace but they where about $50 each
i got mine from ford dealership for $44. i get a discount. lol.
i found it. tight fit. it's on top of some hvac boxes behind the passenger side glove box. i removed the glove box, then removed the blend door actuator from the mount, then removed the mount. install is reverse. 3 screws on the mount are 5/16 socket.
thanks. now i'm just awaiting the arrival of that vacuum hose assembly that goes to the floor door actuator rod.
Thanks for the reply boss. This is very random but I've gotten a situation where AC will suddenly blow hot then switch back to ac cool operation. Very random. Like maybe once in 6 months or so. I just wanted to eliminate the possibility of an issue and also I'm involved in chasing the ghost of my 4wd auto locking function. Process of elimination. Even if I have to change every single thing, I will catch tat damn ghost. I have my proton pack and ghost trap ready.

Lmao! No sir, I'm not ready for tat but my wallet is somewhere around..... Laying over there..... And fortunately for me, my wife loves the truck as much as I do, so she tolerates my spending.
Now all I need is an ecto-containment unit to store tat ghost once I catch it. Too bad Egon ain't around to see me do it.
