Hmm 3pm eh? One day if we can plan ahead enough, I can try scheduling a day off to do something. I was actually planning to head to Spokane for their meet in March but its a bit too late to schedule I think. I'll still try though. Its a long drive to get there and I doubt I'd be staying the night but in order to support the east side, I thought it would be a good idea to head over for a day. I'm not totally sure if I'll go but the idea is neat.
Charlene hasn't responded to the idea yet.
Why not send them the one that came out of your truck if the R&R has already been done?
I was at the Kitsap Truck & Auto today at about 10:30 or so.
Picked up the trans that they had pulled out of a crispy truck. The trans
was not too bad looking for the way the body looked. Burned to a crisp.
Alright I got us a booth. It seats 4 people but we can pull a chair up for 5. And if needed I think we can move to a bigger table. Its a little busy tonight.
Leaving Olympia at 8am heading to Horseshoe, if you guys change the time or somebody wants a ride or whatever my cell is 425-320-six932 John.
I don't have the patience to attempt to do the forum on my phone and doubt I'd have 4G/WiFi where I'm going anyways.
If I don't hear anything I'll be at the Hangar Inn at 6-6:30pm
Good things happen… Anyway The person in the parking lot is someone I
went to school with. He knows of some places looking for people with
my skills and maybe even able to work around my limits.
Also Tim might be in need of some older truck parts and I said "funny thing"
I know someone that is very good at finding them. Can I give him you # ?
So I didn't make it again
I had to go down to California at the behest of the Franchise Tax Board and explain to them that I did NOT owe them $22,000 from 1992. Bureaucratic pain in the ***, for sure! Well, at least I got them to release my bank account, but the fight over this isn't finished yet.
Ya, go ahead and give the guy my number, just tell him to leave a message if I don't answer. If an unknown number calls and doesn't leave a message I NEVER call them back as half the time it's some CL scam crap. Good luck on light duty employment!
Sorry to hear about the headaches Mark.
Damn, no way I can swing the fuel costs and a weekend away from home on such short notice. Eventually I'll get over the mountain as I'd like to meet people and I need to swap some parts with a buddy in Tri-Cities that are WAY too heavy to ship. Had a huge PITA of a day going (tying to get) to junkyards and only thing I got on your list ws the horn contact brass/spring
Sorry to hear about the tough times there Mark. There is always next month .
John, how much do you think it would cost to go over in your truck? I've been making my plans, over thinking everything. I still have to try to get the day off...
According to mileage to go from Olympia to Spokane and back is 640 miles total so roughly $100-$135 for just fuel. That's estimating at 15mpg average which should be about right for that drive in my truck.
That actually isn't as bad as I thought. It used to cost me that much per week to drive 35 miles every day to work and back in the bronco. How badly do you need to get to the tri-cities?
